I live in the Willamette Valley with my hubs, our two tiny kids and our black lab, Bear. Like true northwesterners, we drink a lot of coffee and enjoy going on “nature walks” with the fam, which are just really slow walks where our 3 year old picks up moss, sticks and the occasional worm off the ground.
I am a huge lover of chocolate chip cookies, stress cleaning, Gilmore Girls, and all things design. I am an INFJ (so is Beyonce… I am not mad about it) and an Ennegram 3 wing 2 if you are into that kinda thing. Also am a huge fan of romanticizing the little things in life. I'm so glad you're here!

I'll tell you a secret, EVERYBODY that books me tells me they are awkward. I'm telling you, it's not true. Give me 10 minutes and I'll have you frolicking with your bestie, having a blast- yes, EVEN while getting your photos taken. I'm not the girl that's going to tell you to stand still and say "cheese." I'll prompt you, move that hair out of your eye and give you feedback, but nothing we do is static and posed. I specialize in candid, emotion-filled imagery that give you all the nostalgic, feely-feels. The secret to photos you will look back at and love years later is to be YOU and it's my job to bring that all out.

Travel Schedule
The photos are beautiful and working with her was a treat. We couldn't have asked for someone more kind, thoughtful, generous, and truly passionate about her work and the people she was working with - everything felt so specific to us as a couple and the wedding that we wanted and the things we wanted to capture. The process from start to finish couldn't have been more seamless, easy, and enjoyable. And now we have memories we will be able to look back on and feel right in the moment again.

Dani's ability to make you feel at ease was such a welcome relief if you are the type of people who are anxious about having a million photos taken of you. She was incredibly accommodating to any type of situation (adding in dogs at the last minute, navigating family dynamics, etc.), and she truly listened to the things that were important to us. Some of our favorite photos are moments in the audience during the ceremony of people smiling/laughing, moments captured that we didn't even know she was right there for.

Our number one thing was we wanted someone who focused on the moments. The candid, hidden moments in time that capture the feeling of the day even when looking back on them years down the road. We wanted our photos to feel natural and an expression of us and we felt that looking through Dani's body of work. The added bonus being that the photos were beautiful. It was so easy to work with Dani. She was responsive, thoughtful, asked great questions to help ensure that the things that mattered to us were what was going to get captured. Everything was easy to use, the photos came back quickly.
