Dani has been there for so many of our special moments.. engagement photos, wedding, maternity and first family photos!! We LOVED her from the moment we met her and I obsessed over her photos on Instagram before hiring her over 4 years ago and I continue to obsess over her photography. She is not only an extremely talented photographer but she is truly an amazing human. We have no talent for having our photo taken and are both fairly awkward during the process, but she somehow finds a way to capture the sweetest moments and guide you to make photos turn out spectacular! I knew we needed to go with Dani after seeing her pricing guide, it was so beautiful! Her whole process from start to finish made me feel so important and like I was her only bride even though I know she had tons! She captured the best moments, was not a "diva" about it but like a friend who knew exactly what I needed at every moment. She even helped get me sometime alone after the wedding when everyone was coming up to us! The photos were just the cherry on top. I'll tell you a secret, EVERYBODY that books me tells me they are awkward. I'm telling you, it's not true. Give me 10 minutes and I'll have you frolicking with your bestie, having a blast- yes, EVEN while getting your photos taken. I'm not the girl that's going to tell you to stand still and say "cheese." I'll prompt you, move that hair out of your eye and give you feedback, but nothing we do is static and posed. I specialize in candid, emotion-filled imagery that give you all the nostalgic, feely-feels. The secret to photos you will look back at and love years later is to be YOU and it's my job to bring that all out.
I'M NOT A REGULAR PHOTOGRAPHER, I'M A COOL PHOTOGRAPHER.
I will sometimes build you a custom package if I feel that your needs are not as extensive as those in my collections. I also offer discounts to travel locations where I either might already be or are on my "bucket list." Couples that book a wedding or elopement get a discounted engagement session if wanted.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?
I will definitely remove obvious blemishes, stains, honey-buckets- that sort of thing no matter what. If you have a bigger request like removing a person or changing a color that isn't obvious, make sure we chat first. I don't do a ton of photoshopping as I want you to look like YOU but I'm happy to do an occasional face-swap or background change if you request after receiving your photos. I can't make you look like Blake Lively if that's what your asking... one can dream though.
HOW MUCH RETOUCHING DO YOU DO?
I require a non-refundable retainer fee to book your date, and once we book, I don't take on other projects at that time. If it is far enough in advance and I have availability, I can apply your retainer to a new date but can't guarantee it will be available.
